The Band Boosters (legal name Spartan Booster Association Band Committee) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of the music education program at Smithfield-Selma High School. The Boosters lead fundraising efforts on behalf of the various band programs, and assist the band directors in carrying out the bands’ activities.

The SSS Band Boosters are band parents/guardians, siblings, and friends who volunteer to assist the band. There are a wide variety of ways you can help the band. The Johnston County Board of Education requires every volunteer to complete a Volunteer Application form. These forms are available in the band office and must be completed by anyone who will be working with students on a volunteer basis.
