Spartan Discount Cards

Sales began on August 5th & will end 2nd week of September. Every Student is expected to sell 12 cards. For every card that student sells over 12, $3 will be credited to that student’s band fee.

Raffle - $5 Tickets

Will begin in late August.

Fruit Sales

Fruit sales will begin at the end of October, orders will be due late November, and delivery occurs second week of December.

Fundraiser Expectations

Smithfield-Selma High School Bands and Ensembles offer students a positively life changing opportunity to work and learn in a unique educational environment. The various band programs are supported through the Smithfield-Selma Band Boosters, a volunteer parent group dedicated to the principles of music education. The Band Boosters organize several fundraisers throughout the year that generate the funds necessary to operate the band program. All profits from Band Booster activities go directly to the band program!

Fundraisers are a fact of life. In order to offer ALL children the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a sound music education, we must raise funds in addition to the money provided by Johnston County Schools. We ask that everyone participate in fundraising activities through direct participation in the fundraiser or through donations. Please refer to the schedule above for fundraising expectations and donation schedules. Meeting these goals will ensure that the level of music education at Smithfield-Selma High school continues to be of a superior quality!
