Devian Bagley Guard Instructor Devian Bagley resides in Clayton, North Carolina, and fell in love with the marching arts activity in his freshman year of high school. He began his marching career playing bass drum in the Spartan Regiment in 2011. Later that year he decided to give winter guard a try and quickly fell in love with the activity. After marching bass drum one more year he decided to switch to full-time guard both fall and winter seasons. During his time from freshman to senior year Devian won numerous awards and medals and was selected to be part of the 2015 U.S Army All American Marching Band his senior year. After graduating Devian took his winter guard career to Legacy Independent Presented by Carolina Gold where he marched for two consecutive seasons and became a 2016 WGI Independent Bronze Medalist. Devian has worked with the Smithfield-Selma guard program since 2017. Aside from his duties at SSS, Devian has also taught Sanderson High School Winter Guard, studied at Univeristy of North Carolina at Pembroke and plans to attend East Carolina University for P.A school. |
